Initial Spark™ is a software consultancy based in Leeds that is passionate about delivering technology solutions that effectively solve business problems. The company was formed by two software engineers with a common vision of 'getting the basics right' by delivering robust software on-time and on-budget.

Our Approach
Here at Initial Spark™ we have established our own 'tried and tested' software development process based on our diverse project experience. The process has been refined on a continual basis so that projects are always delivered on time and within budget.
Plan
We place great importance on understanding your requirements in order to formulate a 'best-fit' solution for your project.
During the planning stage questions are asked in order to understand your vision, target audience and project objectives. In addition, any potential issues with the project can be identified and addressed accordingly.
Initially, wireframes and prototyping are used to visualise the user experience and match your vision with the end product.
Develop
The development stage involves the coding and testing of your project. An agile approach is used to divide the build into iterations so that you are able to see the system evolve as it is developed, enabling you to provide feedback at regular intervals.
The system is then deployed to a testing environment where we test functionality, tweak performance and allow you to carry out your own end-user testing.
Launch
Once the implementation is complete, we can provide any necessary hosting or support you with the deployment if you are self-hosting the project.
When your project is 'live' we provide on-going support and maintenance. If your requirements change in the future we are happy to discuss evolving your solution.
